Robert Smithson's earthwork Spiral Jetty (1970) is located at Rozel Point peninsula on the northeastern shore of Great Salt Lake. Give yourself at least an hour before sunset (2hrs if you want to check our Golden Spike— which I also recommend). The Spiral Jetty is the epitome of Land Art, and is located on the north end of the Great Salt Lake. My sweetheart and I stopped by the Spiral Jetty after a day of thrifting in Ogden, which I highly recommend!
